Welcome to FaithWorks Recovery & Career Pathways (“FaithWorks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.faithworks-recovery.com (the “Site”) and participation in our services, including donations, coaching, mentorship, and employment partnership programs. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose and Services
FaithWorks is a faith-based community initiative operating out of San Marcos, California. Our mission is to support individuals in recovery through mentorship, job readiness coaching, and employer partnerships.
We are not currently a 501(c)(3) nonprofit but operate as a private, faith-based organization with the goal of obtaining nonprofit status in the future.
All services, including coaching, mentorship, and material resources (such as clothing or transportation assistance), are provided as available and may change or end without prior notice based on funding or capacity.
2. Donations
FaithWorks accepts donations through Wix Payments and other approved processors.
Donations are generally considered final but may be refunded on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of FaithWorks.
Donors understand that, as we are not yet a 501(c)(3), donations are not currently tax-deductible.
3. Employer Partnerships and Employment
FaithWorks connects candidates in recovery with businesses willing to offer second-chance employment opportunities.
While we vet, mentor, and prepare candidates, FaithWorks is not responsible for employment outcomes, hiring decisions, or performance once placed.
All employment relationships are strictly between the employer and employee.
FaithWorks may assist businesses by supplementing wages for qualified candidates during their transition period; however, specific terms of support are subject to written agreement between FaithWorks and the employer.
4. User Conduct
Users agree to use this Site and our services lawfully and respectfully.
You may not misuse the Site, interfere with operations, attempt unauthorized access, or use the FaithWorks name, logo, or materials without written permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
FaithWorks provides all programs and information “as is” and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding outcomes, job placement, or service availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithWorks, its founders, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our programs.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, logos, and text on this Site are the property of FaithWorks Recovery & Career Pathways unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce them without permission.
7. Changes to These Terms
FaithWorks reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be handled within San Marcos, California jurisdiction.
